About the role
Every cake we make is designed around one customer’s celebration. You’ll work from the order schedule and the customer’s reference photos to decorate custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies, and you’ll have a real say in how they come out.
What you’ll do
- Decorate custom cakes in buttercream and fondant to each customer’s design
- Pipe borders, rosettes, lettering and buttercream flowers
- Fill, stack and level layers, including tiered cakes
- Decorate cupcakes for custom orders
- Work to the order schedule so every cake is ready on time
- Keep your station clean and follow food safety practices
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on cake decorating experience, with photos of your work
- A steady hand with piping and lettering
- An eye for detail and pride in a clean finish
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Available to work weekends
- A Maricopa County food handler card, or willing to get one
