About the role
Our front counter is where a birthday, a wedding or a Tuesday treat starts. You’ll greet every guest, help them choose from the daily case, take custom cake inquiries in person and on the phone, and make sure every pickup leaves the shop looking perfect.
What you’ll do
- Greet guests and help them choose from the daily cupcakes, cookies and cakes
- Take payment and ring up orders at the register
- Answer the phone and take custom cake inquiries
- Box and hand off custom-order pickups
- Keep the counter, pastry case and dining area clean and stocked
What we’re looking for
- Warm, friendly and comfortable talking with people all day
- Reliable and on time
- Available to work weekends
- Retail, café or food service experience is a plus, not a must
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift cake boxes
- A Maricopa County food handler card, or willing to get one
